Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information
Effective date: [EFFECTIVE DATE]
California law gives you the right to tell a business not to sell or share your personal information. Other US states give similar rights. This page explains what "sell" and "share" mean at FullReveal and how to opt out. It does not cost anything and you do not need an account.
There are two different things you may want to stop. Pick the one that fits you.
A. You visit or use FullReveal
What we share
When you visit fullreveal.ai, analytics and advertising tags from Google (Google Analytics and Google Ads) and Meta record ad clicks, page views and purchases. When you buy, we send a hashed (scrambled) version of your email address to Google and Meta so they can tell us which ads led to the purchase. California law calls this "sharing" for cross-context behavioral advertising.
We do not sell your search history or your account details.
How to opt out
Use any of these:
- The switch on this page. Turn off "Share my data for advertising measurement". This applies to the browser you are using. [UI: switch component]
- Your account. If you are signed in, the same switch is in Settings. It then applies to your account on every device.
- Global Privacy Control. If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, we treat it as an opt-out for that browser. You do not need to do anything else.
- Email. Write to [PRIVACY EMAIL] with "Do not sell or share" in the subject line.
What happens next
- We stop loading Google and Meta advertising tags for that browser or account. [CONFIRM: whether Google Analytics also stops, or runs with advertising features off.]
- We stop sending your hashed email address and purchase events to Google and Meta.
- We apply the opt-out at once on this page, and within 15 business days for requests by email.
- Clearing your cookies can remove a browser-only opt-out. Signing in and using the switch in Settings avoids this.
B. You appear in FullReveal results
What we sell
When a customer unlocks a report, they get information about the people in it, such as names, phone numbers, email addresses, past cities, employer and online profiles. Because customers pay for reports, California law treats this as a "sale" of the personal information of the people in them.
How to opt out
Go to our opt-out page. Tell us the phone number, email address or name and location you want removed. When the request is processed, we stop showing those details in search results, reports and public phone number pages on FullReveal, which stops their sale through FullReveal.
We ask you to confirm a code sent to the phone number or email address so we suppress the right record and not someone else's. If you cannot receive the code, say so on the form or email [PRIVACY EMAIL], and we will process your request using the details you give us. You do not need to prove your identity to opt out of sale.
We act on opt-out requests within 15 business days, and usually much sooner. The opt-out page explains what is removed and the limits.
Authorized agents
Someone else can make either request for you, if you have given them written permission. Email [PRIVACY EMAIL] with the request and the permission. We may contact you to confirm.
You will not be treated differently
We will not deny you the Service, charge you more or give you a worse service because you opted out.
Other privacy rights
To ask what we hold about you, or to have it corrected or deleted, see Section 13 of our Privacy Policy.
